The Welder Training Certificate Program provides students with both theoretical knowledge and practical training in welding techniques used across a wide range of industries. Over 16 weeks, students will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard welding processes and equipment, preparing them for certification and employment in manufacturing, construction, metal fabrication, and beyond.
This program includes classroom instruction in blueprint reading and welding theory, combined with practical training in multiple welding methods, including Oxy-Acetylene Cutting, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). Students will also train on a wide range of support tools and learn safety practices based on Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) and Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) standards.
