GAS TECHNICIAN G3/G2 (FULL-TIME)

About Program

The Gas Technician Diploma Program is a 32-week, full-time training course that prepares students to become licensed professionals in Ontario’s heating and fuel industry. Delivered using the official TSSA (Technical Standards and Safety Authority) curriculum, the program provides both theoretical instruction and practical hands-on workshops to prepare students for the Gas Fitter 3 (G3) and Gas Fitter 2 (G2) licensing examinations.


Taught by certified instructors with real industry experience, this program emphasizes the safe installation, maintenance, and servicing of gas-fired appliances and systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Students will benefit from instructor-led lectures, project-based learning, and testing aligned with TSSA standards. Licensing exams are administered directly at Stanford International College—an approved TSSA testing centre.

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • OR mature student status with successful completion of entrance examination
