About Program

The Cardiology Technology Diploma Program is a 76-week, full-time program designed to prepare students for a rewarding healthcare career in diagnostic cardiology. Accredited by the Health Standards Organization (HSO) through the EQUAL Canada program, this diploma meets national quality standards in curriculum, training, and continuous improvement. Students gain in-depth theoretical and hands-on experience in non-invasive cardiac testing and are fully supported in preparing for the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) certification exam.


This program is ideal for students passionate about heart health, new Canadians looking to specialize in healthcare, or those transitioning from other medical fields. Whether assisting physicians with ECGs, Holter monitoring, or exercise testing, graduates will enter the workforce as key members of the healthcare team.

Admission Requirements:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent with senior-level College (C) or University (U) courses in English, Math, Physics, Chemistry or Biology
  • OR Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diploma
  • OR Two completed Anderson College pre-med courses


  • English Proficiency (if applicable): TOEFL, IELTS, CAEL, or PTE with minimum required scores
  • Completed CASPer Test (non-cognitive skills assessment)
  • Profession-Specific Aptitude Test (math, science, reading comprehension, and logic)
  • Immunization Report (including Hepatitis B and flu shot)
  • Clear Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Non-academic skills: physical ability, communication, critical thinking, and manual dexterity
  • CPR Level BLS, Standard First Aid, Mask Fit (N95), and full COVID-19 vaccination (organized by college)
